How each vendor’s band has changed, edition by edition

Every edition places vendors relative to the others evaluated that year, so we compare bands across years rather than dot positions.

    FAQ

    PeMa Quadrant questions

The PeMa (Penetration and Maturity) Quadrant is AIM Research's proprietary 2x2 vendor evaluation framework that ranks enterprise technology providers across four positions: Leaders, Seasoned Vendors, Growth Vendors, and Challengers — based on their market penetration and technology maturity.

Market penetration measures how widely and deeply a vendor is established in the market: clients, deal sizes and geographic spread. Technology maturity measures how advanced and proven its technology and delivery practices are: capabilities, platforms and partnerships. Vendors are scored across 40+ weighted criteria and mapped to one of the four quadrant positions.

Any enterprise technology vendor active in the relevant market category can request to participate. AIM Research issues an open RFI per study and invites qualifying vendors via the Research Calendar.

PeMa Quadrant reports are published on a rolling basis across multiple market categories — including Generative AI services, Data Engineering, MLOps, and others. New reports are announced through the Research Calendar.

Find the open RFI for your market on the Research Calendar and submit before it closes. All participating vendors are evaluated based on their responses to the PeMa questionnaire, capability briefings, solution demonstrations, and supporting case studies.
