Sovereign cloud providers in India reported strong demand for GPU capacity in October. E2E Networks reported Q2 FY27 revenue of Rs 2,238 million, about five times the prior year, and a net profit of Rs 727 million against a loss a year earlier, citing a roughly Rs 1,000 crore Blackwell GPU deal with an Indian sovereign AI company that runs to June 2029. Vultr announced a 20 MW AI supercluster in Chennai built on AMD Instinct MI355X GPUs, without GPU counts or an operational date, and said more capacity on newer AMD systems is planned for 2027. Tata Communications reported Q2 FY27 revenue up 9.6 percent, with its digital portfolio, which includes cloud services, up 18.6 percent and net profit up 86 percent. BharathCloud opened a second Hyderabad office that will host a planned global network operations centre and plans more than 500 hires. Airtel Cloud, Jio Cloud, Sify, ESDS, Yotta, AceCloud, Cyfuture, Ishan Technologies and Island Computing Services had no qualifying moves that could be verified from acceptable sources. Capacity is expanding, but delivery dates and GPU allocation remain the questions buyers need answered.
