    Coforge appoints former Bharti Enterprises vice chairman Akhil Gupta as chairperson

    Coforge's board named Akhil Gupta as chairperson and independent director for a five-year term starting 29 September 2026, after a global search run with Egon Zehnder. Gupta previously served as vice chairman of Bharti Enterprises and sits on several boards. Chief executive Sudhir Singh tied the appointment to the company's enterprise AI growth agenda following the Encora acquisition.
