    Hitachi Digital Services is the digital engineering and services arm of Hitachi, set up in November 2023 from the digital solutions business of Hitachi Vantara.

    It serves industrial, energy, mobility, healthcare and financial services clients with cloud, data and AI, IoT and application modernization services, combining IT skills with Hitachi's operational technology heritage, and offers HARC agents for enterprise agentic AI. In October 2026 Hitachi said HDS and GlobalLogic will combine on 1 April 2027 as Hitachi Digital, a company of about 35,000 people in 27 countries with more than 880 clients, led by CEO and Chairman Anand Birje. Its service lines will span physical AI, data and intelligence, cloud and site reliability engineering, and enterprise applications.
