    About Hexaware

Hexaware Technologies is a Navi Mumbai-headquartered IT services company, majority owned by Carlyle and listed on the Indian stock exchanges since 2025.

It provides cloud, data and AI, application, infrastructure and business process services to enterprises in financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, travel and other sectors, with most revenue from North America and Europe. Calendar 2025 revenue was about USD 1.54 billion, up 7.6 percent year on year. Through its acquisition of SMC Squared, Hexaware runs a GCC 2.0 service line that helps clients design, build and operate global capability centres in India. AIM Research places it as a Leader in GCC Enablement Service Providers. In September 2026 Hexaware named Vivek Jetley, formerly a President at EXL, as its next CEO from 28 October 2026, succeeding Srikrishna Ramakarthikeyan after 12 years. The change puts a data and analytics executive at the head of the company as it pursues AI-led growth.

Hexaware names EXL President Vivek Jetley as CEO, succeeding Srikrishna Ramakarthikeyan

Hexaware told the Indian stock exchanges that Vivek Jetley, a President at EXL who led its insurance, healthcare and life sciences units, will become CEO on 28 October 2026. Srikrishna Ramakarthikeyan, CEO for 12 years, steps down from the role and the board on that date and stays on as a senior advisor. Majority shareholder Carlyle backed the appointment.

Buyer takeawayGCC clients should expect continuity through the October handover, but should ask how the new CEO's data and AI background will shape Hexaware's GCC 2.0 roadmap and account priorities.
