This ambitious program underscores UST’s commitment to continuous workforce development and positions its personnel at the forefront of technological innovation.

The AI training program is part of UST’s broader strategy to leverage its extensive expertise and maintain a competitive edge in the rapidly evolving tech landscape. The initiative follows the recent launch of UST AlphaAI, a platform designed to consolidate the company’s AI offerings, enhance business agility, and streamline operations.

UST’s comprehensive GenAI training programs will be tailored to meet the diverse roles and responsibilities of its employees. By offering customized and flexible training options, UST aims to boost efficiency and help employees achieve their full potential. The training curriculum builds on insights from UST’s long standing collaborations with prestigious institutions like the MIT Computer Science & Artificial Intelligence Laboratory and the Stanford Artificial Intelligence Laboratory. These partnerships ensure that UST’s workforce is equipped with the latest academic breakthroughs and practical knowledge.

“Our comprehensive GenAI training initiative will set a new industry standard, bringing over 25,000 employees up to speed on everything from foundational GenAI concepts to cutting-edge applications,” said Sunil Balakrishnan, Chief Values Officer and Global Head of Development Centre Operations at UST. “The program provides hands-on experience with industry-leading tools and platforms like GitHub Copilot, ensuring our employees can apply GenAI capabilities across diverse domains.”

Dr. Adnan Masood, Chief AI Architect at UST, emphasized the importance of upskilling in the current digital landscape. “At UST, we recognize that the key to staying competitive lies in the continuous upskilling of our workforce. As GenAI continues to revolutionize industries and transform business operations, we are dedicated to equipping our employees with the tools and knowledge they need to leverage these technologies effectively.”
