Upland Software, Inc. has announced a significant enhancement to its Qvidian platform with the introduction of Qvidian AI Assist, a generative AI model designed to streamline the response and proposal process. As a leading name in the RFP and proposal automation industry, Qvidian aims to empower teams with advanced AI features that simplify the creation of standout proposals and RFx responses.
“At Upland Qvidian, our focus is on developing powerful generative AI tools that enable users to personalize their proposals,” said Shawn Freligh, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Content Lifecycle Automation solutions at Upland. “Our goal is to enhance user productivity, and Qvidian AI Assist represents a major step forward, providing our customers with innovative ways to quickly deliver consistent, compliant, and responsive proposals that are crucial for winning business.”
Qvidian AI Assist enhances the platform’s existing machine-learning capabilities, offering users a more efficient and productive experience. The new generative AI model introduces several key features: Enhanced AutoFill with generative AI analyzes the context of proposals and responses, generating relevant content suggestions that users can seamlessly integrate into their documents.
Streamlined content creation and customization allow users to quickly jumpstart and fine-tune content to meet specific customer needs, incorporating additional information and effortlessly revising answers. Improved accuracy and consistency are achieved through automatic flagging of AI-generated content, ensuring that responses remain consistent and compliant.
Additionally, pre-made generative AI prompts provide guidance and suggestions for content revision, with the flexibility for users to create, save, and share their own prompts for future use.
Upland’s commitment to security and data integrity is evident in the development of Qvidian AI Assist. “As the security landscape continues to evolve, Upland is dedicated to staying ahead of threats with a robust security and compliance team, continuous live monitoring and reporting, and proactive risk assessments and threat responses,” said Dan Doman, Chief Product Officer at Upland Software. “We have implemented an AI Council and adhere to a strict data-isolation and non-training policy, ensuring that information passed into or returned from generative AI models is never used to train those models, thus protecting sensitive or private data.”
Qvidian AI Assist is part of Upland’s broader initiative to integrate generative AI across its product suite, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of its tools while maintaining stringent security measures. This innovative step forward promises to significantly impact how teams handle proposal and RFP automation, making the process faster, more accurate, and highly customized.
