Nvidia and Yotta Data Services Forge Partnership to Drive AI-Powered Innovation in India

Yotta Data Services, a leading digital transformation service provider, has announced a significant partnership with Nvidia, marking a significant milestone in India’s AI revolution. The partnership involves the deployment of 4,000 Nvidia Graphic Processing Units (GPUs), including the advanced NVIDIA H100 Tensor Core GPUs, dubbed Shakti, at Yotta’s NM1 data center.

Enthusiasm for AI-Powered Innovation

Sunil Gupta, Co-founder, MD & CEO of Yotta Data Services, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating that the arrival of the H100 GPUs signifies the dawn of a new era for AI-powered digital innovation in India. He stated, “H100 marks the beginning of a new chapter, not just for Yotta, but for a truly AI-powered digital Bharat.”

Empowering Growth and Innovation

With access to cutting-edge hardware within India, Yotta aims to empower businesses, government entities, startups, and researchers to drive innovation and foster growth. This initiative aligns with India’s broader strategy to leverage AI technologies for national development and progress. Sunil Gupta added, “Our plan is to empower Indian businesses, government, startups and researchers to prompt innovation and stimulate growth.”

Strategic Collaboration for AI Revolution

The partnership with Nvidia reflects a broader trend of collaboration between technology giants and Indian entities to bolster the country’s AI capabilities. Nvidia’s Managing Director for Asia-South, Vishal Dhupar, highlighted the company’s commitment to catalyzing disruption in India by working closely with businesses to deploy GPUs effectively. Dhupar emphasized the need for increased investment in AI research and infrastructure, stating, “We are planning to work with more businesses to bring GPUs in India, essentially focusing on maximizing disruption.”

Accelerating India’s AI Journey

While Yotta Data Services joins the ranks of Nvidia’s technological partners in India, including Reliance Industries Limited and Tata Group, the deployment of Nvidia’s superchips represents a significant step forward in India’s AI journey. With initiatives like India’s AI Mission and Nvidia’s Inception program supporting startups focused on AI, the country is poised to accelerate its progress towards becoming a key player in the global AI landscape.
