To accelerate the adoption of generative AI across many industries, Coforge Limited and Microsoft have announced a strategic agreement to build the Coforge Copilot Innovation Hub. The Innovation Hub’s primary goal will be to develop generative AI solutions tailored to specific industries and combine them with Microsoft’s cutting-edge AI offerings, such as Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service, Microsoft Power Platform, and Microsoft Copilot.
Coforge launched two new AI copilots as part of this initiative: Advisor Copilot for financial services firms and Underwriter Copilot for insurance businesses.
With improved decision-making power and more control, the Underwriter Copilot is intended to support insurance underwriters, therefore increasing return on investment (ROI) and streamlining the intricate underwriting procedure. The goal of this solution is to increase underwriter productivity and efficiency by 30–35% while also improving the combined ratios for carriers by 2-3%.
Through an intuitive interface, financial advisers may immediately access complete fund information and performance statistics with the Advisor Copilot for Financial Services. Financial advisors and asset managers become approximately 30% more productive as a result of not having to do lengthy searches across several tools and data sources.
“Coforge is leveraging its deep industry expertise and customer partnerships to build industry-specific generative AI solutions on the Microsoft platform, driving transformation and enhancing productivity,” said Sudhir Singh, Executive Director & CEO of Coforge. “This collaboration with Microsoft will accelerate our efforts to deliver industry-leading generative AI solutions to our customers. Today, we are introducing two new copilots: Underwriter Copilot for insurance carriers and Advisor Copilot for financial services organizations.”
David Smith, Vice President, WW Channel Sales at Microsoft, highlighted the significance of the collaboration, stating, “The Coforge Copilot Innovation Hub is a testament to our joint commitment to transform and scale the organizational capabilities of financial services worldwide. The use of generative AI has nearly doubled in the last six months, with 75% of people using AI at work, according to the 2024 Work Trend Index Annual Report. Together, Coforge and Microsoft are committed to leading the way in AI adoption, driving innovation, and unlocking business value for enterprises globally.”
By automating repetitive operations, enhancing decision-making with data-driven suggestions, and streamlining business procedures, these new copilots increase operational efficiency by leveraging Microsoft’s generative AI capabilities. The solutions are intended to speed up digital transformation and give customers additional sources of revenue.
The Coforge Copilot Innovation Hub will make it easier for businesses to embrace Microsoft’s generative AI solutions, increasing productivity and producing better business results. The centre is a major advancement in Coforge and Microsoft’s collaboration, which aims to maximise artificial intelligence’s potential to revolutionise markets and boost output.
