The way people represent themselves online has been driven by AI through virtual avatars and digital identities. Our virtual identities are no longer limited to just a profile picture or username; they now interact in the virtual world similarly to how people interact in the physical world.

An AI-powered avatar is a digital human that replicates human expressions, movements, and other behavioural patterns in virtual reality. In other words, people can create a fancier version of themselves with a high quality video content, without having to even pick up the camera.

An AI avatar can appear in 2D or 3D images with dynamic features like the ability to speak multiple languages, more nuanced sense of fashion and gestures. AI avatars  are created through the combination of various AI technologies, including machine learning, computer vision, and natural language processing. Since AI avatars enable people to personalize their content better than human actors can , it has become highly desirable in places where customization is difficult.
This not only allows people and businesses to interact more closely with their audience but are also cost-effective and time efficient.

Several startups have recently emerged with instant avatar creators, offering these solutions at a fraction of the cost.
