Wipfli brings in Charley Boyle as Chief Data and Analytics Officer to lead its growing focus on AI-driven solutions and data strategy.

Wipfli has appointed Charles Boyle as its new Chief Data and Analytics Officer. Boyle brings more than two decades of experience in data strategy and artificial intelligence (AI) to the firm, where he will oversee the development and execution of data-driven solutions aimed at improving clients’ decision-making.

“So excited to embark on this new chapter of my career journey with such an innovative and supportive organization at Wipfli! Looking forward to building out and scaling their Data & AI organization to transform high-value business outcomes,” Charles mentioned in a LinkedIn post.

Boyle’s Background and Experience

Boyle has held various leadership roles in multiple industries, where he has led the development of AI-driven products and strategies. Before joining Wipfli, Boyle was Vice President at Fortive, directing data strategy across several operating companies. During his time there, he led his team to create AI-based solutions, including an anomaly detection system for predictive maintenance in retail and a Generative AI model that helped healthcare clients with capital asset planning.

In addition to his work at Fortive, Boyle has held senior positions at Octo Telematics as Chief Data and Analytics Officer and at Honeywell as Chief Data Scientist. His leadership at these companies focused on building large-scale data systems, nurturing AI integration, and delivering solutions that helped organizations optimize their operations and improve efficiency.

Boyle’s Role at Wipfli

In his new role, Boyle will enhance Wipfli’s data and analytics capabilities. His leadership will guide the integration of machine learning and AI into the firm’s offerings, ensuring clients can leverage these technologies to make smarter, more informed decisions. Boyle will also oversee the development of innovative solutions that can improve client operations and drive growth.

“We are excited to welcome Charley to Wipfli as our new chief data and analytics officer,” said Kurt Gresens, managing partner at Wipfli, who was delighted to introduce Charles to the firm: “His extensive experience in data science and AI, coupled with SaaS product development and AI integration across diverse industries will be invaluable as our firm’s offerings continue to expand.”

Focus on Data Governance and Security

Boyle’s responsibilities at Wipfl also include security and data governance initiatives. As organizations increasingly rely on data, maintaining proper governance and ensuring data security have become more critical. Boyle’s experience in managing large-scale data systems will be valuable in supporting Wipfli’s efforts to meet industry standards and ensure data privacy and protection for clients.

Boyle’s expertise in data governance will be essential as Wipfli works to safeguard sensitive information and ensure compliance with industry regulations. His leadership in this area will help the firm build a strong foundation for managing and securing data, which is vital in today’s data-driven world.

Looking Ahead

With Boyle’s appointment, Wipfli will provide innovative, data-driven solutions that meet its clients’ evolving needs. His leadership will guide the company in creating cutting-edge tools and services that help clients navigate the complex data landscape, ultimately enabling them to make more informed decisions and improve their bottom line.

Boyle’s extensive background in AI and data strategy will allow Wipfli to offer the tools and solutions necessary to meet these challenges head-on. His leadership will also ensure that Wipfli’s data science teams continue to develop solutions that address both current and future business needs.
