He previously served as the VP and Head of Digital, Data, and Analytics at Zoetis Inc., where he led the data, analytics, and AI strategy, driving value creation and operational efficiency. His academic contributions as an adjunct faculty member at Carnegie Mellon University and Rutgers Business School further reflect his deep knowledge and dedication to the field.

Cheriath’s professional journey is marked by significant achievements, including:

  • Being a Leaders Council member at AIM Leaders Council, the world’s largest community of chief data and analytics officers
  • Founding member of The IEEE Fair Trade Data Initiative, focusing on the ethical use of data on a global scale
  • Holding various senior leadership roles at Bristol Myers Squibb, where he advanced the company’s data, analytics, and AI technology footprint

With an MBA in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business and a B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Kerala, Cheriath’s academic credentials complement his professional experience, making him an ideal fit for driving Thermo Fisher Scientific’s data and AI initiatives forward.
